The Staff

J. Daniel Labs, M.D.  Founder of the Hand and Extremity Center in 1994, Dr. Labs trained at two of the most famous medical institutions in the world. From 1983 to 1990, he served as Intern, Resident and finally Assistant Chief of the Surgical Service at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. From 1990 to 1992, he was a Fellow in Plastic and Hand Surgery at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital. With numerous academic publications and awards, Dr. Labs in addition, served on the American Society of Plastic Surgeon's National Outcomes Committee, and wrote for "The Digital Hand Surgeon" column in Hand Surgery Quarterly. He maintains active membership in the American Association of Hand Surgery.
